Delivery Information
We regret that we can only arrange the delivery of plants to Mainland UK and not to any isles and this includes the Isle of Wright
Please read the information below to find out about our expected delivery times, and any shipping and handling charges.
We will dispatch your plants within 7 days. We normally dispatch the plants on a Tuesday to arrive with you on Wednesday.
Delivery Charges
We always keep our delivery charge to the very minimum, but to help ensure our plants reach you in the best condition possible we have to charge a minimum fee of £9.00 to cover our costs.
We then apply a staged delivery charge system as follows:
- Orders up to £50.00 - £9.00 Delivery charge
- Orders up to £100.00 - £15.00 "
- Orders up to £200.00 - £20.00 "
- Orders up to £300.00 - £30.00 "
- Orders up to £400.00 - £40.00 "
- For orders over £400.00 please Contact Us for a quote. We can offer a reduction for larger orders.
Delivery
Plants will be sent by Nightfreight. Nightfrieght requires a contact tele no. Signatures are required on delivery. When signing for plants and trees, it is important that they are checked for visible signs of damage. If you have any doubt, please sign for them as 'damaged', otherwise refunds or replacements will not be provided.
If a plant or tree is damaged and has been signed for as 'damaged,' please contact us ASAP. If available, replacements will be arranged for no additional cost. If suitable replacements are not in stock, then an alternative plant, tree or refund will be offered.
Delivery instructions
We suggest you have the items sent to an address where there will be somebody to receive your order. If this is not possible please provide precise instructions about where you would like the items left, if a suitable location exists, (e.g. with neighbours or at the back of a property), if you will not be there to sign for them. However, please note that these deliveries will NOT be insured if they are stolen or have not been signed for as damaged, refunds or replacements will not be available. These are the carriers "Conditions of Carriage" and Creative Plants has no control over these.
Creative Plants will always try to notify you of a delivery in advance, by email. Items will usually be dispatched within 7 days following receipt of payment. There may be occasions when it is not possible to send items within these timescales due to factors beyond our control, however you will be notified by email if a delay was expected.
If you are not in
Our carriers will attempt delivery several times and leave cards informing you of this, and where they can be contacted to arrange a time to deliver when you will be available to receive your purchased items. Should the carrier subsequently return the purchased items to Creative Plants having left cards and attempted delivery more than once, Creative Plants reserves the right to charge a 20% restocking fee.
If the purchased items are returned by the carrier after they have attempted delivery to you several times and are deemed to be unsuitable for re-sale, due to their perishable nature, you will be liable for the full purchase cost of the items, and Creative Plants reserves the right to re-ship your order or offer any refund for the items at our discretion.
